Sun slowly setting behind the mountains, leaving the blue houses of Bhramanpuri glow in the last light for one last time during the day.

Warm colors of the sunset along with blue color houses provided a wonderful combination of colors to experience. My favorite urban sunset experience so far!

Feeding grains to pigeons in Mecca Masjid, Hyderabad. This is such a common scene where many turn up just to feed these winged creatures.

Here I framed the wonderful landmark Charminar in between their hands and pigeons.

In case you are wondering about the "Aao!" sound, that's how people call pigeons with their extended hands, to feed them with grains! In fact in many religions it is considered a good virtue to feed pigeons!

Thousands of people gathered at the beach and celebrated the last day of the festival by immersing Ganesha idols into the water. People bid farewell to their favourite god by shouting "Ganpati Bappa Morya. Pudcha varshi lavkar ya"

This tiny hamlet called Berijam will give a tough competition to any typical Swiss village for its beautiful environment. Located near Kodaikanal in Tamil Nadu, South India, this hamlet is not accessible to general public. As a passing-by trekker, I was privileged enough to stay there for a night!
