View from Jaigarh Fort, Rajasthan. It is no joke when it is said India is rich in heritage and architecture. A simple view through a window will reinforce that fact!

As part of World Heritage Day celebrations at Hyderabad, folks enacted the story of Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah (of Qutb Shahi Dynasty) and the way this city Hyderabad (Bhaganagar - named after his wife Bhagmati) was formed. It was wonderful to watch the events unfold one after the other with the backdrop of majestic tombs were he and his family members were buried later.

Qutub Shahi Tombs were lighted yesterday for World Heritage Day celebrations at Hyderabad.

I always wanted to capture these majestic historical tombs in the night. But generally visitors are not allowed post tourist hours. Just yesterday was an exception due to celebrations. This tomb was beautifully lighted and its reflection in the water was waiting to be captured!

Qutub Shahi Tombs were lighted yesterday for World Heritage Day celebrations at Hyderabad.

I always wanted to capture these majestic historical tombs in the night. But generally visitors are not allowed post tourist hours. Just yesterday was an exception due to celebrations. Those moving stars in the sky symbolise the ever changing times and how these tombs stand the test of time!

This is a long exposure shot for 5 minutes. Faint stars were not visible due to light pollution from the city. Managed trails from few bright stars yesterday. Moon is blended into the frame from a different exposure taken specifically for it.

.. is slowly becoming the center of all the activity and purpose of life in this world! But the reality has to be in the opposite direction.

Money has never made man happy, nor will it, there is nothing in its nature to produce happiness. The more of it one has the more one wants.

A stranger walks past the iconic Hawa Mahal (Wind Palace) building of Jaipur, Rajasthan.

Sometimes the well known buildings look totally different in the lighting of the night! I like the effect created by the silhouetted stranger walking past this mysteriously lighted building.
